The Hydro Hotel
The Hydro Hotel is a three star superior hotel in the historic spa resort town of Lisdoonvarna.
First known as Queens Hotel, it was opened in 1875. "The Queens" was a very popular place with English Gentlemen who came to enjoy hunting and fishing. Before 1948, this hotel was owned by the Irish Tourist Board and was the first hotel in Ireland to have hot and cold running water. At this time it became known as the Hydro Hotel.
In November 1975, one hundred years after it first opened, it was bought by White's Hotel Group. The Hydro has been completely modernised and has 110 bedrooms. It also boasts original 19th Century features, bars, a restaurant and Lisdoonvarna’s only nightclub - soon to be venue to many of The Outing's events!
The Imperial Hotel
The Imperial Hotel is also a superior three star hotel located at the centre of Lisdoonvarna, right on the main street.
Its facilities include: 100 excellent ensuite bedrooms, foyer, dining room and bars all tastefully designed, as well as 2 restaurants, offering great food and friendliness
Its large Matchmaker Bar is a famed centre-point of Lisdoonvarna Festival activities, as it will be during The Outing
