GOSHH – Gender Orientation Sexual Health HIV
The Outing Festival LGBT+ Arts, Music & Matchmaking Festival is a totally new concept and now it’s own standalone festival that is an addition along side the popular and long-running Matchmaking Festivals in Lisdoonvarna Co. Clare Ireland. With this, we are teaming up to get a few messages out there from community groups. This message is from GOSHH which is close to our hearts here at The Outing Festival as this years festival will be our 10th year working alongside each other.
GOSHH – Gender Orientation Sexual Health HIV is a voluntary, non-profit organization which provides care and prevention services relating to LGBT, HIV/AIDS, Sexually Transmitted Infections, and Sexual Health issues to people in the Mid-West of Ireland. We strive to ensure that people have access to local services which match and exceed those available in the rest of the country. We provide a safe, confidential, welcoming environment for everyone we work with.
Our office is based at 18, Davis Street, Limerick City and we work throughout Counties Limerick, Clare, and North Tipperary.
We focus on the promotion of equality and wellbeing of all with a positive and respectful approach to sexual orientation and gender diversity.
Formed in 1989, Limerick AIDS Alliance operated until 1994 when the name changed to Red Ribbon Project reflecting the breadth of sexual health services provided throughout the Mid-West of Ireland.
Gay Switchboard Limerick was founded in 1986 and became Rainbow Support Services in 2001 reflecting the wide variety of identities supported throughout the Mid-West of Ireland. Both projects joined together in 2013 and became GOSHH in 2014.
GOSHH is committed to continuing to provide LGBT services and increasing visibility throughout the mid-west region of Ireland. For more information about the LGBT Support services in the Mid West please contact
